Each year Mercy depends on the generosity of our community businesses and families to help us change lives. Every single gift, large and small, makes a difference in providing housing, resources and educational programs for those in crisis. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. You will receive an email confirmation and receipt for your deduction. Any amount that you can give is appreciated. Here’s a few ways you can help.
Monthly or scheduled donations makes it possible for Mercy to meet the growing demands in Clay County and provide uninterrupted programs and services to those in need. Recurring gifts at any increment allow us to successfully plan and implement our annual goals. Any amount that you can give is appreciated, and you become a GUARDIAN for Mercy.

You can designate a legacy or bequest- a sum of money, shares, bonds, jewelry and other possessions, life insurance policies and real estate property designated in your Will to your choice of persons, organizations, or charities like Mercy Support Services.

Volunteer at Mercy
Mercy relies on volunteer committees to help with fundraising events and other activities.
You may also wish to share your skills by becoming a trained Care Coach for Mercy. Our coaches are everyday people who desire to share their gifts and talents in a mentorship program. Our Care & Financial Coach Training Program is offered seasonally to help them get started. Whether your gifts are spiritual, financial, educational, parenting, career-placement or fundraising, you can make a lasting impact in our Mercy family. Donate Goods
Mercy Support Services is always in need of goods to help our clients. Some common items that we’re in need of are:
- Twin and Full Sheet Sets
- Standard Pillows
- Twin and Full Comforters
- White Bath Towels, Cloths and Hand Towels
- Unisex Toiletries – (Bath Soap, Shampoo/Conditioner, Deodorant, Lotion)
- Laundry Supplies – Detergent, Bleach, Dryer Sheets
- Walmart Gift Cards any amount
- Lyft or Uber Gift Cards ($25/card) Please note: This will not be a resource Mercy will promote as having or something we “do”. But we occasionally have instances where we need to help a client or very rarely a walk-in get from the office to where they are going
If you have new items to donate, please call ahead at 904.297.4052 to arrange for drop-off.
If you have items you wish to donate that are not listed here, we encourage you to visit the Orange Park Clothes Closet, one of our partnering Ministries, where they provide those in need with food, clothing and household items. Mercy proudly provides clients with referrals for their services.
