Thank You To Everyone Who Supported 2019 Night of Hope!
Night of Hope Puts The "Fun" in "Fundraising"
On October 10, 2019, a sold-out crowd of guests and supporters gathered at Sullivan Hall in Fleming Island for Mercy’s 6th annual Night of Hope celebration. The evening was filled with an abundance of donated silent and live auction items, local experience trips and an adorable Goldendoodle! Food station sponsors included: The Urban Bean Coffeehouse Cafe; Sweets by Holly; OP Fish House & Oyster Bar; Hovan Mediterranean Gourmet; Enza’s Italian Restaurant; Dalton’s Sports Grill; Bonefish Grill; and Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
The night was sponsored by PLATINUM Sponsor Odessa Realty Investments; GOLD Sponsors Jack & Sharon Myers, Reynolds Park/Clay County Port, and Gregory & Barbara Bennett; SILVER Sponsors Lighthouse Christian School, Legacy in Action, Ken & Joelle Marquis, State Farm -Katherine Baustert, and Pure Barre Fleming Island.
State Senator Rob Bradley shared his heart for Mercy as the Honorary Chairman of this year’s event and Christinne Perez served as the event’s chair.
As the evening came to a close, guests were asked to vote on the People’s Choice Awards for food presentation and taste. Taking First Place for “Best Taste” was Bonefish Grill. Second Place for “Best Taste” was awarded to Dalton’s Sports Grill and Third Place to Hovan Mediterranean Gourmet. OP Fish House won the most votes for “Best Presentation.” We are so appreciative that they all were able to participate in making this such a stellar event!
Beautiful photos capturing the excitement of the night were taken by Heisler Studios and Chic-Booth Photography and are posted on the website in our Photo Gallery and on the Mercy Facebook page.
We are so grateful to have so many leaders and supporters in Clay County who take the time to honor and celebrate such a worthy cause. The significance of this event is a direct reflection of all that staff, volunteers and partnering businesses have accomplished throughout the year as they continue to offer HOPE, making a direct impact in the lives of others in Clay County, FL.
